How to UnInstall OPCLabs.KitServer.2 and OPCLabs.KitEventServer.2

A note to the same subject, for others who may stumble over this:

The simulation servers are needed for demos and examples only. When installing QuickOPC anew (I understand that this was not your case), it is possible to skip their installation when you choose the Custom installation option on the first page of the installation wizard. You are then offered a list of components, and the server(s) can be unchecked. On the page with list of individual components, it is also possible to select one of the pre-defined installation types, and types such as the "Production" do not include the simulation server either.

Many thanks, it worked perfectly. I wanted to keep QuickOPC and remove those servers that were not required anymore after the start-up.

If you uninstall QuickOPC, they should be uninstalled with it.

If you have QuickOPC installed and want to keep it, but just get rid of these servers in the list of OPC servers, locate Bin\opcrtkit.exe under the QuickOPC installation directory, and then run it from command line with the /UnregServer parameter. You can then remove the .exe file if desired (or register it again, using /RegServer).
