I solved my problem last year by installing the most recent service packs for Visual Studio and moving onto the latest OPC Labs revision. No problems since.

Hello.

Unfortunately this is the kind of problem that we can only support in the current version of the software. Try QuickOPC 2021.1 instead. If the problem persists with it, we will have a look at it.

I am sorry that I cannot give you more satisfying answer.

Best regards

Hi
I got the same error just as neilcooley did. I have Quickopc2018.2, visual studio 2017, windows10. For me the winform programs work fine, but all my wpf programs, including the demo programs in QuickOpc2018.2, wouldn't work. Visual studio would simply crash saying [The program '[10004] WpfApplication1.exe' has exited with code -1073740940 (0xc0000374).] Someone please help.
Thanks.

Hello,
have you also ran the QuickOPC Setup program on the new computer? If not, can you do so?

There are some things it configures for the Visual Studio, so I wonder whether it cannot be related.

Best regards

Hi
I have a new laptop and have loaded it with Visual Studio 2019 and Windows 10.

I have copied over my working projects from my old laptop (Visual Studio 2019 and Windows 10), they are written in VB.

When I try and run the application on my new laptop, Visual Studio 2019 just closes down.

I have now created a new project contacting a list view, two command buttons this compiles and allows debug.

The problem above is replicated when I add a EasyDAClient to the form (WIndows VB Net), when I try and debug Visual Studio just crashes. I have tried changing the .NET version to 4.7 to no avail.

Looking in the event log I found this;

Faulting application name: devenv.exe, version: 16.6.30128.74, time stamp: 0x5ed02509
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.19041.207, time stamp: 0x1bdbc4b8

Faulting process ID: 0x3a7c
Faulting application start time: 0x01d63de7fc64c39e
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Professional\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe

Report ID: a6ee957f-e839-439c-a68a-ddf4a52ae1b4
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

Do you have any ideas on what I can try?
