VBA Managed Resource Licens Store sample code?

Hello,

In my reply will assume that the customer is really using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) in some host such as Excel, and not VB.NET.
In the documentation (opclabs.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/QuickOpc/Latest/User%2...esource%20License%20Store.html ) it says:

"With the Managed Resource License Store, you embed your license into one of the assemblies that your application comprises of.
This functionality is not available under (or the text does not apply to) COM development platform."

- which implies it is not available in VBA.

I would welcome if you can shed some light on *where* would the customer actually want to embed the license key. VBA is not a compiled language; it is interpreted. There is no "customer's app executable" file to modify. Let's take an example of VBA hosted in Excel: Certainly the customer does not want to modify the EXCEL.EXE to contain the license key? What is then left? Does he want to embed it somewhere in the Excel sheet itself? That seems weird. If I could understand what they want to achieve and there is some way to do, I may consider implementing some improvement in the future.

Best regards

Hello,

I have a customer currently using 2022.1 on VS 2019 16.11.19, and 4.7.2 Framework to develop their custom application using VBA.

They are working on deploying the application and are trying to embed the license following the Managed Resource License Store procedures, but unfortunately, the Documentation does not include an example for VBA.

Do you happen to have such an example? Or will the customer need to perform the Manual License Deployment method?

Thank you for your attention to this matter, your input is greatly appreciated.

Best regards.
