maybe I can ask the question differently. I would like the end user to be able to specify the item name for a tag. What options are there?

The description is in the main documentation ("Concepts"), chapter 7.1.2.3 Mapping - and onwards.

It is indeed possible to specify an item name different from the .NET member name.

But you cannot have that dynamic. That would be beyond the scope and design goal of Live Mapping.

Best regards

Can you please let me know how to use the attributes properly so I can have an item name that is based on another property within my class. This is my second attempt at posting this question.

Can you please tell me where I can find information on the annotations available for Live Mapping? For instance, I want to use Annotations to set the DAItem name different than the name of my property. This value has to be dynamic, using one of the other properties in my class.
