Installation with LicensingException

(For record: After e-mail exchange, used teamViewer and resolved by re-installing the license using the License Manager. Real reason unknown. Before re-installing the license, the registry only contained the Licensing & subkey in the 32-bit part, but that should not be a problem by itself).

I later realized: Are you aware that in newer versions, you can embed the license in your project, and get around the License Manager hassles? See "Managed Resource License Store", opclabs.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/QuickOpc/Latest/User%2...esource%20License%20Store.html .

Please use REGEDIT to export the two registry keys described here: opclabs.doc-that.com/files/onlinedocs/QuickOpc/Latest/User%2...bframe.html#License_Store.html ,

zip the result and email to support09 (at) opclabs.com .

First we make a registry edit which makes the license available in the combobox within the License Manager, and then we use the License Manager to install the license.

There are two issues at play here:

First, the license you installed has not been recognized. This causes QuickOPC to fall back to the trial license.
Second, the trial license is no longer valid either, because you are running an older build of QuickOPC (we do not want people trying out obsolete versions).

To resolve the second issue, download current QuickOPC build and rebuild your project with it.
To resolve the first issue: I will need to know the details how you are installing the license. Is it using the License Manager, is it directly into the registry, or embedded in the program, etc.?

We have purchased a license and installed in numerous PCs without problem, until a couple of days ago when a colleague attempted to install the license on two different PCs but he encountered the same licensing error:

Not allowed to run by the license "Multipurpose". You might be using a trial license, and the version of the software you are using is obsolete. Obtain a recent version to resolve this problem.
Component name: "QuickOPC", license IDs: "Multipurpose", version number: 554, release date: 09/11/2018, trial validity: 210 days, option name: "EasyUAClient

In theory we haven't changed version or done anything different compared to previous successful installations, why are we now having this problem?
