Note: QuickOPC now supports Python in much better way, cleaner syntax, and public packages (pypi.org/project/opclabs-quickopc/) on Python Package Index . See What's new in QuickOPC 2023.2 for more information. And, over 270 examples are available in the User's Guide!

This forum is for QuickOPC client toolkit. I am not sure if you are using it, also because there seems to be the same post here: www.sps-forum.de/threads/erkennen-von-opc-ua-alarmen.106135/ .

In general, you use the ConditionRefresh method to get all the states; they will then come through the notifications. See reference.opcfoundation.org/v104/Core/docs/Part9/5.5.7/#:~:t...0Server%20maintains%20Branches.

With QuickOPC, the "refresh" is done automatically after the connection is established, and the notifications that come from the Refresh are distinguished by a flag inside them.

Best regards

I am working with opc ua, from ua expert and I would like to know how to report that an alarm has been triggered. I am working with python from rasa and I would like to know how to detect that an alarm has been triggered and so notify the corresponding worker. I know how to check the status of each alarm, i.e. if alarm 1 is on or not, if alarm 2 is on, ... but there are too many to do it one by one.... Is there any method to find out in a simpler way which alarm is activated?
Thank you.
