thank you for this, it has really helped. I think I have found and fixed something, a possible reason (although it is not possible to verify it, without having access to the server).
Please download, rebuild and retest with QuickOPC 5.71.273 or later (it is on our Web site, and www.nuget.org ).
Best regards

Can you please open Windows "Event Viewer", select
Event Viewer (Local) -> Windows Logs -> Application
and check whether there are any interesting events between the time you started the application, and the error occurence?
Reason: Looking for internal QuickOPC errors which would be logged there.
Best regards

I tried with new version library i.e. 1202 or later and the problem persists.
I repeat that I can read the variables but neither browsing nor writing works.
Can you help me please?

There it a chance that this is caused by something we have fixed recently. It is just a chance, but before we investigate further, it is worth checking. Please download and install the very recent version&build, i.e. 5.70.1202 or later - it is on our download page (and on nuget.org). Then verify with the About box that you are really running it, and retest.
Thank you

can you please press the About button in the demo app, and find out the full QuickOPC version - I know it is 2022.2 (5.70), but also including the build number?
Thank you

Back to question one: Yes, but with that server, does it happen in 100% of the cases, or only sometimes?
